Interview by Stephin McCloskey

Cedar Crest quarterback Jay Huber has been putting up outstanding numbers for the Falcons for the past couple of seasons. Often overlooked in the hoopla of names like Cam Harbaugh, Hayden Johnson, Robert Footman to name a few, the Senior Signal caller is once again proving he is one of the best in the league. Huber and the Falcons are 2-1 and head up to Millersville for Section 1 play against a Penn Manor squad that is reeling. Huber stopped by to speak with 717Sports Stephin McCloskey, on the matchup and where he seems himself playing next season:

Stephin McCloskey: After a successful first three weeks of the season, what has propelled you into the next level of play?

Jay Huber: I would say that the two things that have propelled me into the next level of play would have to be hard work and dedication to the sport!

Stephin McCloskey: What are you looking forward to most in your senior season?

Jay Huber: I am most looking forward to winning as many games as possible and making the playoffs.

SM: Do you have any worries going into Penn Manor this upcoming week?

Jay: Penn Manor is an all-around well talented and well coached team. We will need to bring our A game.

SM: Do you have any colleges on your list of targets

Jay: I would love to play Division 1 football anywhere, but also there are plenty of great colleges in the PSAC

As you can see Huber is more determined than ever to help Cedar Crest get back into the playoffs. Knocking down Penn Manor on the road would be a strong message that the Falcons are ready. Stephin McCloskey will be covering this game for 717Sports for updates follow him on twitter @StephinMcC.
